The Tennessee Titans did not maximize their window for the Super Bowl.
Derrick Henry is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent, and based on his recent statements, it doesn’t appear that he has faith in remaining in that role.
He may not be the only well-known person leaving Tennessee soon, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
“There are people in the league who believe that the Titans would be willing to move Vrabel, or he would be open to moving to another team—possibly both,” Schefter stated.
Apparently HC Mike Vrabel could be open to a trade somewhere else and the team could also try to move him.The Titans may have found a new franchise quarterback in Will Levis, but it’s more than clear that they’re still far from a contender, even in their own division.
Vrabel could become a highly sought after asset around the league as he’s earned a reputation as a strong coach, an experienced guy, a favorite of his players, and his tenure in Tennessee has been quite impressive.
Vrabel’s team is known for their strong defense and how they found ways to win games they were supposed to lose, and has a similar style to Mike Tomlin. As every year, there should be many new coaches and Vrabel has already earned his stripes in the league.
He is still under contract and the Titans could get an interesting return for his services, which can only solidify and launch the Will Levis era.As for Henry, the market has been unforgiving of runners, so he may not be able to reach his value in the next trade..
