Every year, the former Formula One champion entertains people on his Christmas card list with a witty take on the year’s most important themes and stories.
Just planning the plotting was the caption a year ago, with the card picture picturing feuding team executives discussing and eavesdropping in the pitlane.
Previously, Ecclestone mocked social and cultural events of the day, with drivers wearing surgical masks depicted kneeling on the grid and receiving vaccines.
This year, however, the now 93-year-old switched gears totally, with his card featuring a tranquil winter farm setting rather than a hilarious cartoon.
“I’m sorry that I couldn’t think of anything exciting or strange that happened this year,” the caption says.
