Team USA Riders Eli Tomac, Aaron Plessinger, and Cooper Webb React to 2024 Motocross of Nations: Hopes, Challenges, and Expectations

The 2024 Motocross of Nations (MXoN) is fast approaching, and with it comes the excitement and anticipation that surrounds this prestigious annual event. For Team USA, this year’s race holds particular significance as the team looks to reclaim glory after a few years of ups and downs on the international stage. Representing Team USA in 2024 are three of the country’s top motocross stars: Eli Tomac, Aaron Plessinger, and Cooper Webb. Each rider brings a unique skill set, racing style, and experience to the team, and together they aim to carry the U.S. flag to victory in this fiercely competitive global event.

As the trio gears up for MXoN, they’ve shared their thoughts on the upcoming event, expressing excitement, confidence, and a clear understanding of the challenges they’ll face. The Motocross of Nations is often called the “Olympics of Motocross” due to its format of national teams competing for the ultimate prize, and the pressure to perform on the world stage is immense. For Eli Tomac, Aaron Plessinger, and Cooper Webb, representing their country is both an honor and a responsibility, and they are eager to give their all in 2024.

Eli Tomac: Leading Team USA’s Charge

As one of the most decorated motocross and supercross riders in recent years, Eli Tomac brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Team USA. Tomac is no stranger to the Motocross of Nations, having represented the United States multiple times throughout his career. Known for his aggressive yet controlled riding style, Tomac has built a reputation as a rider who can adapt to any track conditions and rise to the occasion when it matters most. Heading into the 2024 MXoN, Tomac is clear about what it means to compete in this prestigious event.

“Motocross of Nations is always special,” Tomac says. “It’s different from any other race because you’re not just racing for yourself—you’re racing for your country. There’s a different energy, and you can feel the weight of that responsibility. It’s an honor to be chosen to represent Team USA again, and we’re coming in with a strong team this year. The competition is always tough, but I’m confident that with the right preparation and mindset, we can put together some solid performances.”

Tomac’s vast experience on the global motocross stage will be invaluable to Team USA. Having faced the world’s best riders year after year, Tomac knows what it takes to succeed in high-pressure situations. His ability to remain calm under pressure and his racecraft will be critical assets for the team. Tomac is particularly focused on the mental side of racing, knowing that at MXoN, every race can come down to fine margins.

“Motocross of Nations is all about teamwork and consistency,” Tomac explains. “You can’t win it on your own. It’s a combined effort
