Running back Christian McCaffrey of the San Francisco 49ers will receive the last NFC Offensive Player of the Month award of the regular season following an incredible performance in his five games in December. In addition to his 520 yards and three touchdowns gained on 79 rushes, McCaffrey also added 19 receptions for 155 yards and two more touchdowns through the air. McCaffrey finished the season with 1,459 running yards, good for the NFL rushing yards title, despite not appearing in the regular season finale.
With 2,023 scrimmage yards, 21 scrimmage touchdowns, and 339 touches, he wraps up the 2023 regular season. McCaffrey is only the second player in history to win the triple-crown scrimmage title twice in his career.RB Jim Brown of the Cleveland Browns, the Hall of Famer, is the only other NFL player in league history to have won the triple crown twice.
