Manchester City won the FIFA Club World Cup by defeating Fluminense 4-0 in the final at the King Abdullah Sport City Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
Pep Guardiola’s side completed a remarkable 2023 by becoming the first English club in history to hold the Premier League, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup all at the same time.
City will now return to Manchester to prepare for Wednesday’s Premier League encounter against Everton.
Club captain Kyle Walker stressed the need of consistency.
